Bible Study
- Thursday Morning Bible Study: Thursdays 10:00-11:00am in the library - Faith Lessons is an in-depth video tour of the buried, distant, or otherwise forgotten places where the stories of the Bible actually happened. Following a 20 minute video the bible passages are read and discussed. The five Faith Lessons on the Promised Land will be followed by five Faith Lessons on the Prophets and Kings of Israel.
- Cross Signs Bible Study: Every other Thursday (check the calendar) 7:00-8:00pm in the library - Cross Signs Bible Study under the leadership of Don Snowden, Deacon. Starting October 4, 2007, we will begin an overview study of the Old Testament titled Left of Matthew. (Think about it for a moment or two). This study was prepared by Norman Hubbard, campus director for The Navigators at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Spiritual Formation Group
Third Tuesday of the month - a women's book discussion group. The evening begins with a brown bag dinner at 6pm, followed by Evening Prayer at 6:30 then the discussion.

New Members Meetings
- Bible study, prayer and discussion are all part of a series of meetings that are scheduled periodically as the need arises. Meetings are open to all who are interested in learning more about our journey with Jesus Christ, the mission of the Lutheran Church, and the congregation of St. Peter's by the Sea. The sessions are informal and interactive. People interested in becoming members at St. Peter's are invited to participate in these meetings. One may start attending at anytime.
