WELCOME TO ST. PETER'S BY THE SEA

We are glad that you have come to worship with us today! Please sign a WELCOME card found in the pew rack, and give it to an usher or drop it in the offering plate. A privacy room for those with infants is at the back of the sanctuary. A nursery is available for toddlers and young children. Children's Church School for grades Pre-K to 5th grade meets during the 8:45 service. Youth Church School meets in the Youth Room at 9:45 a.m. Older children are encouraged to remain in church. Hearing aids and large-print bulletins are available from an usher.

SUNDAY HOSPITALITY is given for the praise and glory of God.  Today we thank Joetta and Leonard Foster for the flowers given in celebration of their 5th wedding anniversary.  We also thank the Spiritual Formation Group for the coffee fellowship between services.

CONFIRMATION CLASS will be held at Christ Lutheran Church today from 12:15p.m. - 3:30 p.m.  Continue to keep our young people in your prayers.

St. Peter's Shipmates will be seeing Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the San Diego Junior Theatre’s Casa del Prado Theater in Balboa Park, Saturday, May 10th, 2:00 p.m.  Tickets are only $10.  All are welcome! See Betty Wells at the sign-up table in the Parish Hall today.

PENTECOST SUNDAY is May 11.  Remember to wear red to church next Sunday for this festival of the coming of the Holy Spirit.

FAIR TRADE: Reach Across the World: Transforming Lives Through Fair Trade - a free seminar offered to the San Diego Interfaith community.  An opportunity to learn how Fair Trade can help bring about justice and hope in the world.  Saturday, May 10th 9am-12:30pm, with doors opening at 8.  This event will be held at Café Moto, 2619 National Ave. San Diego.  Continental breakfast & lunch provided. CHRISTIAN SYMPATHY: The church family of St. Peter’s extends prayers and sympathy to Budd Ledbetter on the death of his wife, Helen.  Helen was an active and faithful member since 1962.   Eternal rest grant her, O Lord.
